CU Camp 2018

CU CAMP 2018

It was a sunny afternoon last Friday, 2 March, when around 50 Westerfordians set out on a drive to the Llandudno campsite, anticipating the fun weekend to come.

CU camp is an annual weekend away that many Westerfordians look forward to for months in advance, and this year didn’t fail to live up to everyone’s high expectations.

The camp this year was led by Mr Dicks, and many other insightful leaders and facilitators from his Church.  The weekend included much laughter, music, prayer and miracles, and also included a trip down to Llandudno beach on the Saturday afternoon for anyone who would dare brave the ice cold water.  A big thank you must be given to Mr Dicks’ wife for arranging all of the delicious meals – none of us went hungry!

This memorable weekend was one that none of us will forget in a hurry, and allowed us to grow in our faith and friendships.  Thank you to Mr Dicks for arranging such a rewarding experience for all of us, and well done to CU for another successful camp!
