The Old Westerfordian Association is proud to announce a 2-for-the-price-of-1 special for Old Westerfordians to see Death of a Colonialist at the Baxter Theatre on Thursday 30th at 8.15PM.

The brand new production Death of a Colonialist, starring Jamie Bartlett and directed by Craig Freimond is opening up a preview night for ex-pupils of Westerford. You can get 2 tickets for R110 for this night only.

Winner of three Naledi Awards, Death of A Colonialist is presented for the first time in Cape Town by the Baxter Theatre Centre.

This highly acclaimed production tells the story of Harold Smith, an aging, eccentric, unpredictable but extremely passionate history teacher at a high school in Grahamstown. Exploring questions of identity and history, it is a funny, sad, profound and passionate play that weaves between the tragedy of our past and the challenges of our present, and reinforces what it means to be South African.
